The host

Meet Don Tuco

A toucan has worked the treetops of Bocas longer than anyone has run tours here. Don Tuco is the one who put on a jacket. He greets every guest the way a good innkeeper does, and he never loses the ledger.

  • Answers in the guest's language: Spanish, English, Dutch, and whatever comes next.
  • Checks the booking ledger before he offers a slot. If 11:00 is taken, he says so and offers 14:00.
  • Writes every reservation in the ledger before he promises it, never after.
  • Says plainly that he's an AI when a guest asks, and that a human reads every booking.
  • Hands the chat to the owner the moment a request leaves his script: changes, complaints, anything that needs a person.
Why this exists
A tour operator's whole business runs on one personal WhatsApp number.

Inquiries arrive at 10 pm, in three languages, while the owner is mid-tour with wet hands. Guests who wait hours for an answer book somewhere else. A website booking widget doesn't fix this, because the guests are already in WhatsApp. Don Tuco lives there too.

How it works

A host, not an autoresponder

Don Tuco runs as an agent with tools. He never invents an answer: availability comes from the booking ledger, prices from your catalog, and anything he can't resolve goes straight to you.

01

He checks before he promises

Every slot is checked against the booking ledger before it's offered. If 11:00 is taken, he offers 14:00. No double bookings.

02

He closes the booking

Tour, date, group size, name, total price confirmed out loud, then into the ledger. Guests get a confirmation email, you get a notification.

03

He knows when to step aside

Complaints, discounts, groups over your limit, or anything unclear: Don Tuco tells the guest a human will follow up and alerts you immediately. Asked if he's a bot, he says yes.

I'm Finca Montezuma's AI assistant, a digital toucan! A human owner reads every booking and will be there to welcome you at the farm. 15:04 ✓✓

For operators

One file is your whole onboarding

Tours, prices, time slots, languages, FAQ, and your escalation rules live in a single configuration file. Finca Montezuma, a working cacao farm in Dolphin Bay, runs on the file you see here. The next operator is the next file.

We build and run it for you. You keep answering WhatsApp exactly as before, just a lot less often.

Customer №1

Running at Finca Montezuma

Finca Montezuma is a cacao farm in Dolphin Bay, Bocas del Toro, reachable by boat, that hosts tastings and chocolate workshops. Its bookings used to depend on the owner seeing each WhatsApp message and typing the reply by hand. Don Tuco answers them now.

Next in line are the tour operators we already build for across Bocas del Toro and the Caribbean coast.
